It is a type of binding that connects a glued spine and a saddle booklet. The pages are stapled together, but the formed spine is flat.
Max spine: 4 mm
Number of pages: from 8 to 96 (depending on the thickness of the paper, adjusted so that the spine does not exceed 4 mm)
Paper weight: 60-350g/m2
The difference to a standard saddle stitch booklet is that we flatten the spine so that it looks like a perfect bound booklet. The advantage is that we obtain a perfect glued spine effect at a significantly reduced production cost. The quality of perfect binding at the price of a saddle-stitch binding!
